Sony has just released 12 games into their streaming service, PlayStation Now.
The team released a blog post yesterday detailing the new addition to the program. The PlayStation Now program has over 450 games included in it including classic PS3 titles which can now be played on the PS4.
This month has seen the addition of 12 Koei Tecmo games. While this month has seen the addition of a a variety of Koei Tecmo games, there are already a range of their games included in the program.
Here are the new games which have been just added to the program:
- Ar Nosurge: Ode to an Uborn Star
- Bladestorm: The Hundred Years War
- Dynasty Warriors 6 Empires
- Ninja Gaiden 3
- Quantum Theory
- Samurai Warriors 4
- Warriors: Legend of Troy
- Yaiba Ninja Gaiden Z
All of these games are now available through the PlayStation Now program. For gamers who don’t have a subscription however, a seven day free trial does exist.
The trial provides full access to the program including access to over 450 games. While this does provide full access to the PlayStation Now program, it is only a free trial.
The PlayStation Now subscription service allows gamers to steam PS3 games to the PS4 and Windows PC. To access this program on the PC, gamers will first need to download the app to unlock the full catalog of games. At the end of the trial, users are billed $19.99 each month to access these games.
While this is a great system, some users have been asking about the program being extended to mobile devices. Sadly there’s been no word about this from Sony so far. If Sony does expand the program to allow gamers to stream games to tablets then the company should announce it some time in the future.
PS Now does include a range of popular games such as The Last of Us, it also includes various smaller games. However, Sony will continue to release games into the program. Despite this, Sony hasn’t released any information about which games will be added to the program next.
We will continue to update you as the PlayStation Now program continues to grow.
