Note: Bloody Harvest Article contains details on story mission The Impending Storm
Borderlands 3 in October gets a free update for the first in-game event and Haloween-themed Bloody Harvest. If you’ve left Pandora and are exploring the outskirts of space on Sanctuary III, you’ll come across Haunted enemies like this one below.
The Haunted enemies will give you a run for your money and the ghosts that rise once you slay them want to scare the life out of you. Coming in contact will also cause the new Terror debuff. This partially obscures your vision and weakens gun handling, accuracy and spread.
If you want to access a new event-specific map, you can’t chicken out. Killing the Haunted earns you Hecktoplasm that turns into Maurice, your new scaly friend who’s living aboard Sanctuary III.
Enemies in Borderlands 3 Bloody Harvest
The Bloody Harvest map has a heap of dangers. Winged Rakk-O’-Lanterns breathe fire, Maliwan goons are hanging at the graveyard and have a burial plot with your name on it and don’t even dare try fighting through a Ratch-infested pit with rivers of blood through it.
Remember Captain Traunt? He’s back but this time with new powers and no face. His name now is Captain Haunt – you guessed it – and he wants to taunt, torture and kill you.
As well as enemies and boss fights, Bloody Harvest offers themed skins for each Vault Hunter, weapon trinket and skins, Legendary loot including guns and a shield and a grenade mod. Haunted enemies also drop Anonited so go farm those creeps.
So prepare wisely for Bloody Harvest which is coming up real soon! And you can also check out the first episode of The Borderlands 3 Show hosted by Greg Miller and guest Fran Mirabella. Creative Director Paul Sage also joins and gives out a SHiFT code.
