Crypt of the Necrdancer’s Amplified DLC gets a release date

The developers of Crypt of the Necrodancer are preparing to launch a DLC expansion for the rhythm roguelike. This DLC is called “Amplified” and is set during the time before the Necrodancer.

It features a brand new story with all new enemies for players to dance-battle their way through. As expected, there are also boss battles for the player to contend with as they progress through the game. In addition to this, Amplified is focused around a new protagonist. A vampire named “Nocturna” who can command pet-like familiars which help in combat.

While the developer promises a new zone, new enemies and more boss battles. They also promise brand new weapons, armor and other loot.

The DLC has been in Early Access for some time now however, it’s now ready for full release. Amplified will be releasing for Steam on July 12th with 20 brand new music tracks.
