Bethesda has officially announced today that their collectible card game is officially released. Elder Scrolls: Legends entered Open Beta last year and anyone with the Bethesda.net client installed could play the game. The developer has now confirmed that this game has finally entered the full release stage.
The developer stated that “after several month of beta feedback” the game is finally ready for launch. The “Beta’ tag” is no longer attached to the game and The Elder Scrolls: Legends has been formally launched on PC.
However, Elder Scrolls: Legends still has some way to go. Bethesda has not launched the game on mobile devices just yet but has released a timeline for the release.
- March 23rd -iPad launch
- April 5th – Fall of the Dark Brotherhood expansion launches
- April 4th – Android tablet launch
- May -Mac OS launch
- June – Mobile Phone version launched
Bethesda hasn’t released any more details about these launches. More information will be released later this year at E3 in June. We will update you on the situation as it unfolds later this year.
In addition to a mobile release, Bethesda has announced the first major expansion for the game. Fall of the Dark Brotherhood will add a new PvE story to the game and will feature 40 new cards. The expansion can be purchased with in-game gold or with real money. There’s also a bonus for Elder Scrolls Online players, anyone who gets the expansion will be given a Doom Wold mount in the MMO.
Elder Scrolls: Legends has a clear direction for the first few months of its life. Anyone with a PC can now download the full game from the Bethesda.net client. There’s no word on a release date for consoles just yet.
