Episode 5 of Telltale’s The Walking Dead: A New Frontier is coming soon

Telltale has just announced the release date for the final episode of The Walking Dead: A New Frontier. The new episode is just over one week away now so it’s time for fans to get excited.

Episode 5 will be releasing on May 30th for all platforms the game is currently on. This means that PC, Xbox One, PS4, Android and iOS devices will be getting the episode at the same time. Anyone who owns the season pass will be able to automatically download the final episode. However, those without the season pass will need to purchase the episode to unlock it. While the game is available for digital download, there is also a physical disc version now available.

Telltale hasn’t released a trailer for the upcoming episode yet but the team did just release a blog post. It reveals that a gameplay trailer and a developers video will be coming later this week. However, it does not specify when players can expect to see it.

According to the blog post this new episode will be the “most tailored episode to date”. It also notes that Richmond is on the brink of collapse while those closest to Javi are now in grave danger.

“The decisions you’ve made and bonds you’ve nurtured will determine which characters now trust Javi to safeguard all they hold dear as this crisis pushes every relationship past its breaking point.”

The blog post states that “stuff’s about to go down” however, there are no spoilers in the blog post. So it’s safe to take a look at if you’re concerned about possible spoilers.
