Fallout 4 for Nintendo Switch Listed by Spanish Retailer

Bethesda might be bringing another title to the Nintendo Switch in addition to Skyrim, if a retailer’s site listing is accurate. Fallout 4 Game of the Year Edition is listed on the website of Spanish retailer El Corte Inglés. Could it be the real deal?

The listing was first spotted by GoNintendo, who managed to snag the below screenshot of the original page, which shows Fallout 4 GOTY Edition listed for Nintendo Switch with a price, September release date, and pre-order button. This page has since been altered to remove the price, release date, and pre-order, but the game and platform information remain in tact.

It isn’t uncommon for retailers to post product listings either early or incorrectly. They are often removed quickly, but this retailer chose to alter the information in stead of removing the page entirely. This could speak to the validity of the listing, because why would they consciously remove some details but keep the page up if it is inaccurate?

Fans have speculated about Fallout 4 coming to Switch, but Bethesda has neither confirmed nor denied a port of their post-apocalyptic survival game to Nintendo’s new hybrid console. It would be the second title from the studio — following Skyrim — to come to a Nintendo platform, and it wouldn’t shock us. But if that September 26th release date is correct, that doesn’t leave a lot of time for an announcement.

You can still visit the retailer’s site listing and click the “Add to Favorite” button in the hopes for a Switch release of Fallout 4, but the original pre-order button has been greyed out and replaced by a “Not Available” message.

Would you be down for more Bethesda games on Nintendo Switch? Let us know in the comments.

Mischa grew up with video games and still has a deep love for many - especially fun, colorful RPGs. Some of her favorites include Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Fantasy Life, Kingdom Hearts, Skyrim, Civilization V, and Stardew Valley. She loves nights in with her boyfriend cooking Mexican food, watching Studio Ghibli movies, and going head-to-head in their favorite games. Mischa might not beat you in Super Smash Bros, but she owns a replica of Arwen’s sword and Hermione’s wand, so... don’t rub it in too much.
