Update: The Porsche Car Pack has now been revealed.
Huge Error for Forza Horizon 3
Playground Games have made a complete debacle for themselves by releasing a OTA unencrypted dev version of Forza Horizon 3. It was released rather than the scheduled .35.2 PC update. The correct version is now available. If you’ve downloaded the version ending .37.2 Playground have advised to uninstall it immediately and redownload the full game. This is very frustrating for players as the game is over 52GB. Players who also tried to save their game using the dev version have had their save files corrupted.
It was meant to be a bright start to the year, with the release of the RockStar Energy Drink Car Pack. The pack includes seven new cars for Forza Horizon 3. Including the BMW i8, 2015, Volvo V60 Polestar, 2015 Radical RXC Turbo, 1972 Ford Falcon XA GT-HO, 1987 Nissan Skyline GTS-R (R31), 2014 Ford #11 Rockstar F-150 Trophy Truck and the 2016 Bentley Bentayga. The pack is included in the Forza Horizon 3 Car Pass, part of Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition or available standalone for $6.99 on the Xbox Store.
Spoiler Alert
We’ve expected that Porsche cars would be included in Forza Horizon 3 since one was spotted in a gameplay video at e3 last year. It seems like now we can be almost certain that there will be a reasonable list of Porsche cars available. One user who looked into the file directory of the dev build found the list and uploaded it on Imgur.
As a huge Porsche fan this is exciting news even if the surprise has been spoiled. I do hope some models from the ’90s are added later on though.
What do you think of the list? Any other models you’ve spotted that you’re excited for? Let us know!
