GOG.com are offering Shadow Warrior 2 for free as part of their ten-year birthday celebration. The promotion will only last for 48 hours so make sure to get in quick. GOG pride themselves on offering DRM-free games, making sure they’re optimised for current-gen PCs and offering an optional gaming client for features such as cloud saves, update roll-backs and achievements.

Shadow Warrior 2 is the sequel to the 2013 reboot of Shadow Warrior from 1997 and continues the story of Lo Wang. Featuring four-player co-op, procedural environments and a custom upgrade system you shouldn’t have any trouble getting some fun out of this free title. The game is currently $39.99 on Steam.

Lachlan's passion for gaming started when he played DOS games like Commander Keen and Wacky Races. His passion grew when he discovered his Aunt's Atari 2600 and was given a Game Boy for Christmas from his Pa. His favourite console has been the PlayStation 1. Right now he has become a little lazy with gaming but still enjoys the occasional FIFA session. He hopes to get back into playing games more regularly so he can switch off from the real world like he did as a Kid. He's excited about the introduction of VR and hopes for some great VR titles.
