Eat Like A God Of War At Mjølner In Sydney and Melbourne This Month

To celebrate the launch of God of War Ragnarök, iconic Norse-inspired restaurant Mjølner is offering a Norse-themed nine-course “Discover the Realms” menu, available in both Sydney and Melbourne restaurants. The dining experience starts today and continues until the 20th of November.

God of War Ragnarök features nine realms each, with “mysteries to uncover and stunning terrain waiting to be explored.”. Each course represents one of the nine realms as either dishes or cocktails. The mocktail, ‘Light of Alfheim’ – a palette cleanser – takes you to one of the “most beautiful realms imaginable”. And ‘Secrets Of The Father’ – the main – is a ‘mouthwatering’ Dry Aged Scotch Fillet with Bottarga Sauce, representing “the highest peak in Jotunheim, the land of the giants”.

Speakeasy Group Owner, Sven Almenning said “Exploring the world of Kratos and Atreus has been amazing and the Norse mythology featured in God of War Ragnarök is absolutely incredible. We’ve wanted to do a menu inspired by the Norse realms for a long time – the launch of God Of War Ragnarök was the perfect opportunity and made partnering with PlayStation an easy choice. The team had a lot of fun coming up with these recipes to bring each realm to life and we’re looking forward to welcoming new and old fans of the game into our restaurants for this exclusive experience”.

Patrick Lagana, Director of Marketing at PlayStation Australia added, “God of War Ragnarök is one of the most anticipated games of the year and we wanted to offer Aussies an opportunity to immerse themselves in the world of Kratos and Atreus like never before. The expertise and passion of the team at Mjølner has really shone through as they have brought each realm to life. We can’t wait for everyone to Discover The Realms as they get ready for Ragnarök.”

Lachlan's passion for gaming started when he played DOS games like Commander Keen and Wacky Races. His passion grew when he discovered his Aunt's Atari 2600 and was given a Game Boy for Christmas from his Pa. His favourite console has been the PlayStation 1. Right now he has become a little lazy with gaming but still enjoys the occasional FIFA session. He hopes to get back into playing games more regularly so he can switch off from the real world like he did as a Kid. He's excited about the introduction of VR and hopes for some great VR titles.
