The fifth patch since the latest major update Atlas Rises is here for No Man’s Sky. Patch 1.35 brings a number of quality of life improvements, revamped features, and bug fixes to the space exploration game.
The first notable change is a fix to a bug rendering players with long playtimes unable to save their game. Many No Man’s Sky players like to explore planets and fly through space for hours on end, and not being able to save was obviously quite frustrating. Thankfully Hello Games patched up the issue swiftly.
Another big improvement brings “ship handling variances between types/classes. Each individual ship now has procedural handling and speed characteristics, based on their type and class.” The low variance among ships was a problem with No Man’s Sky from the get go, and updates have been gradually fixing this. The Atlas Rises update already made changes to ship handling and enemy AI for improved space combat, and patch 1.35 should make that even more dynamic now.
Several changes were also made to the UI, such as the quick menu closing after selecting an option, translated alien words are now highlighted in interactions, and improved navigation using Q, E, W, S and A and D keys.
Those are the most notable improvements. Read the full list of features and changes below for all the improvements you’ll see on your journey through the galaxies, via Hello Games.
Hello Games also provided an extensive list of bug fixes that came with this update, which can all be found in the full patch notes.
