EA and Bioware have just revealed the PC specifications for Mass Effect: Andromeda.
The publisher has posted the full system requirements on the official Origin store page. It’s revealed that players will need to have quite a beefy machine just to run the game. Only a small number of players will be able to run the game at the recommended requirements.
EA hasn’t confirmed what resolution PC players will be able to play the game at. They also haven’t confirmed what framerate the game will be played at. However, this should be revealed later this year as the release date approaches.
Minimum Requirements
OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570 or AMD FX-6350
GPU: Nvidia GTX 660 or AMD Radeon 7850
RAM: 8 GB
Recommended Requirements
OS: Windows 7, Windows 8.1 or Windows 10
CPU: Intel Core i7-4790 or AMD FX-8350
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1060 or AMD RX 480
Ram: 16 GB
EA has confirmed that the game will require 55 GB of hard drive space as a minimum for the game. The specifications have been revealed ahead of the multiplayer beta test which is due to take place very soon.
EA still hasn’t confirmed when this beta will take place. The publisher announced the beta test some time last year and confirmed that there would be a test before the game is released.
Mass Effect: Andromeda will be released on March 21st later this year for North America and the 23rd for Europe. The time period of a multiplayer beta test is slowly shrinking so EA will need to launch the test very soon.
The upcoming space RPG has also just gone gold and the game is almost ready for release. Bioware will be releasing the highly anticipated game very soon and PC players will get to see the system requirements in action. Hopefully EA or Bioware will confirm the framerate and resolution ahead of the release date next month.
