The Nintendo of America Twitter account has announced a new Nindies Showcase video presentation. The video will be releasing on the 30th of this month at 10am PT or 1pm ET. This is around 5pm BST for British readers.
According to the tweet it will be “highlighting multiple indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch”. There have been no hints so far about what games will be included in the highlights video.
We do know however, that the Overcooked development team recently submitted a new patch to Nintendo so we may receive some news about this. In terms of upcoming games, the most anticipated one right now seems to be Stardew Valley. There’s also questions surrounding the release of Yooka-Laylee for the Nintendo Switch considering it still doesn’t currently have a release date.
While we shouldn’t expect any news from large third-party developers, it’s possible we will hear from the ones mentioned above. This is all just speculation however as we don’t currently know anything about this showcase. We will need to wait until the 30th to see what news is coming for the Switch.
In other Nintendo Switch news, an Australian user on Reddit has discovered some news about the season pass for Mario + Rabbids. According to them, the season pass costs $30 AUD and includes the Pixel Pack. This pack can also be purchased separately at $4.55 AUD. Anyone interested in the Pixel Pack will be pleased to have it confirmed that it contains 8 pixel style weapons. However, we still don’t have any images of these weapons or the prices for other regions.
Users will be able to find the Season Pass and Pixel Pack in the DLC section for the upcoming game. Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle will be releasing tomorrow on the 29th. However, we still don’t know exactly what time it will be releasing. For now, we should assume the game will go on sale at exactly midnight in each region.
