PlayStation Plus April Games Include Drawn To Death, Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime

Sony revealed April 2017’s free games with PlayStation Plus today. New release Drawn to Death and couch co-op Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime lead the lineup.

One game was already announced for the lineup, because it’s going to be free for PS Plus members at launch. PS4-exclusive Drawn to Death releases April 4 for $19.99, but PS Plus members will get the game for free. You have to keep your PS Plus membership to keep the game, so don’t try signing up for an account and deactivating it as soon as you download the game. You sneaky snake.

Drawn to Death is a third-person shooter with “unconventional gameplay mechanics.” Oh, and all the graphics look like they were drawn in a high schooler’s notebook. And it’s awesome. The title comes from acclaimed video game developer David Jaffe, director of franchises like God of War and Twisted Metal.

PS4 owners can also download indie gem Lovers in a Dangerous Spacetime for free next month. This one- to four-person couch co-op sets players maneuvering through space in a neon battleship that fights evil and rescues space-bunnies. You can also play online with PS4’s Share Play feature.

For PS3 owners, Sony is offering up Invizimals: the Lost Kingdom, a third-person action adventure that lets you transform into 16 different Invizimals, all with different stats and abilities. The other free PS3 game for April is Alien Rage – Extended Edition, a sci-fi FPS with a single-player campaign and multiplayer modes.

Finally, April’s PS Vita games with PS Plus are 10 Second Ninja, a fast-paced 2D action puzzle game,  and Curses ‘n Chaos, a 2D arena brawler.

Be sure to download March’s PS Plus games before they expire, and check back with A9K for more news on the latest game deals.

Mischa grew up with video games and still has a deep love for many - especially fun, colorful RPGs. Some of her favorites include Pokémon, Animal Crossing, Pikmin, Fantasy Life, Kingdom Hearts, Skyrim, Civilization V, and Stardew Valley. She loves nights in with her boyfriend cooking Mexican food, watching Studio Ghibli movies, and going head-to-head in their favorite games. Mischa might not beat you in Super Smash Bros, but she owns a replica of Arwen’s sword and Hermione’s wand, so... don’t rub it in too much.
