The next DLC for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard will be completely free to all those who own the base game. Capcom has now released a trailer to tease footage from the “Not a Hero” DLC.
Not a Hero is a free expansion and sees the return of Chris Redfield, everyone’s favourite veteran BSAA soldier. This expansion takes place after the main game where Ethan went through hell. However, Not a Hero sends Chris on a new journey to fight threats which were not seen in the main game. Chris and his team must set-up a strategy to counter this latest threat and solve the mystery behind it. Not only this, Chris and his team must then make it out of the plantation alive.
While the above trailer focuses on Chris Redfield and the Not a Hero DLC, it also mentions the “End of Zoe” DLC. Towards the end of the trailer, a man states “we’re going to fix this, we’re family”. So it suggests that once again ‘family’ will play a major role in that expansion. Details on End of Zoe are very limited right now as Capcom is not officially releasing any news about it. However, Capcom does state that it follows an outdoorsman named Joe who happens to encounter Zoe.
This expansion is being sold separately for $15/£12 and is also included in the season pass for Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. The season pass can be picked up separately to the main game or you could purchase the Gold Edition of the main game – available soon – as that also comes with the season pass.
Both of these DLC will be launching on December 12th alongside the Gold Edition of the base game.
